Question 1

Transferring your place to someone else

Accepted Answer

If you are unable to attend an event, you may be able to transfer your place to someone else. Simply view your booking via the link in your confirmation email and, if the event organiser is currently permitting such transfers, click to Transfer to Someone Else.

You will be asked to enter the name and email address of the intended recipient - together with any custom message you wish to add - and on completion of the booking invitation sent to the recipient, your entry will be removed.

Question 2

Updating your user profile

When registering for an event, any details stored on your user profile will typically be pre-populated on the entry form. You can update these details (email address, name, date of birth, gender) via the Settings option in your login menu (displayed as your First Name when signed in).

The login menu will appear in the top-right of the page when viewed in a desktop browser, or can be accessed via the burger menu when viewing on a mobile device.

Question 3

Updating your booking/registration information

Accepted Answer

If any of the details provided during your registration for an event are incorrect/outdated, you may be able to update them yourself. Simply view your booking via the link in your confirmation email and, if the event organiser is currently permitting such updates, click to Update Booking.

You will be able to update any responses except your Name and Date of Birth, but must ensure you click Proceed at the foot of the page to save any changes. Note that you will not receive confirmation of any changes by email.

Question 4

When will I receive further information about the event?

The detailed race information including maps, details on parking, registration, baggage and start times can be found [INSERT LINK]. Information will also be e-mailed out to participants in the week of the race. This sometimes ends up in junk mail so please keep an eye out for it!

Question 5

Are headphones allowed?

The Race Director has taken advice and, in line with current UKA competition rules, the wearing of headphones or similar devices (including but not limited to earbuds and skull conductor types) is not permitted as the course is not closed to traffic unless medically prescribed, in which case you are asked to notify the Race Director in advance.

Results

Race results will be available on the event website:- www.Flitwick10K.org.uk, hopefully by Sunday evening, and will be displayed on the timing provider’s website:- http://results.eventchiptiming.com

Question 7

How do I collect my number?

Accepted Answer

You collect your race number on the day. Simply find one of our volunteers outside the village hall and they'll sort your number

Is baggage storage available

Yes, you can find baggage storage in the village hall

Do I have to register for the fun run

Accepted Answer

No, simply turn up on the day and run. The fun run starts around 11:30 from the finish area - please listen to announcements
